Kickoff Keynote



Dr. Bonnie Clipper, former VP Innovation ANA, now CCO Wambi, engages us in how we can spark cultures of innovation. She is a pioneer and foremost expert in this emerging field with dramatic impact: 4+ million nurses participating in innovation programs across the nation.


Closing Keynote



Dr. Cole Edmonson, CNO Texas Health Presbyterian shares with us his acumen on "Culture of Engagement" and specifically leveraging influence and inspiration. His significant and direct experience in this realm provides exceptionally valuable insight about what it takes to implement, grow and sustain engagement and innovation initiatives and how they shape the pathway for tomorrow's nurse leaders development.

2020 CNO and Executive Roundtable


Colleen Chapp, Executive Vice President for Kirby Bates and Associates will join our executive leaders. CNO and Exec teams are vital to our success. They provide insight across a vibrant array of macro and micro trends and are key to ensuring Nurse Leaders continue to be "at the table" and a trusted cornerstone in shaping the future of healthcare in the Northwest.

Members have priority and preferred pricing as they are the backbone of our organization's success:

  • Members $562 ($643 after July 2nd)
  • Non-members $717 ($799 after July 2nd)

Take a deeper dive into the topics that are on all of our minds. These skilled facilitators will guide discussion and leave you with fresh ideas that you can put into action. This event is held during the first evening at the Lodge. Get settled in early and soak in the conversation and connections. Dont miss this opportunity to share brain-space with some of the Northwests most influential leaders. You will be amazed at how powerful a dynamic session like this can be... its a Revelation!


Awards Banquet, Raffle & Scholarship Fundraiser

A hallmark of our organization is recognition of the significant contributions our members have made on their leadership journey. We are humbled by your accomplishments. In addition, our extremely popular basket raffle is back again! All proceeds go directly to the funding of NWONL Academic Scholarships.

SME Tracks evolve to Focus Sessions

Experience leaders dive into a full spectrum of topics related to innovation, inspiration and influence for leadership development. You are welcome to participate in any offerings as they pertain to your unique needs. CE credit will be awarded. Over lunch, visit the poster presentations from leaders who are making an impact in their work and communities.

Annual Meeting of the Membership

Join us after breakfast for the annual Meeting of the Membership. Get up to date information on NWONLs strategic plan, priorities and 2020 agenda/offerings. The Oregon and Washington Centers for Nursing will join us to talk about the state of the nursing workforce and relevant research for each state Note: Ongoing refinement of our by-laws is necessary to ensure we are meeting your needs, we will vote to approve 2020 updates as ratified by the Board.
