It is that time of year when we look to our members to fill seats on the Board of Trustees for the organization. We depend on your leadership, talent and time to guide operations and planning throughout the year. There is still time to nominate yourself or someone else for an open seat on the Board of Directors for NWone.

August 17th is the deadline for nominations!
The voting process opens September 4th and elected officials for next year will be announced by October 12th.
Open positions include:
1. President Elect
2. Secretary / Treasurer Elect
3. Leadership Commission Co-Chair (Oregon)
4. Development Commission Co-Chair (Washington)

Charge Nurse Class presented by NWone

November 8th, Asante Health in Southern Oregon will host this class, facilitated by NWone. This is an all day intensive designed to develop and advance the leadership toolbox for effective Charge Nurses.  The location is the Smullin Education Center at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.

Fall 2018 CNEWS Conference
This year’s conference is October 17, 18 & 19, 2018 at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel, Seattle Airport-Southcenter.

On October 18th as part of the Fall 2018 CNEWS Conference, the Nursing Education Solutions Summit will happen as part of the Action Now initiative.  With keynote speaker Pablos Holman, futurist, inventor, and notorious hacker with a unique view into breaking and building new technologies.  We are looking forward to an exciting, informative day.
