When the fires swept through Southern Oregon and Central Washington over Labor Day, small communities across the states were impacted. Towns were devastated by the fires and the community hospitals moved quickly to prepare to evacuate as well as handle an influx of patients. Once again, Nurse Leaders found themselves in the midst of a crisis storm, navigating uncharted waters.
Laura Magstadt, VP of Nursing with Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Oregon, shared her story during the CNO / Dean Rounding call this month.
